J. Pauline Eikenberry
J. Pauline Eikenberry age 92 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 10:08
P.M. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Brethren Retirement Community
in Greenville. Pauline was born February 27, 1918 in Darke County,
Ohio, to the late Jesse & Elizabeth (Baughman) Loxley.
Pauline formerly worked as a clerk for the Civil
Service Board and claims clerk for Social Security in Dayton. Pauline
was a member at Greenville Church of the Brethren; Greenville
Grandmothers Club; Business and Professional Women; and Gettysburg
Eastern Star. Pauline loved fishing in Canada, attending local auctions
and was an avid pet lover of all kinds.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was also
preceded in death by her 1st husband, Harold Henderson; 2nd husband,
Myron Eikenberry; step son, Nils Eikenberry; brothers, Carl, Galen,
Noel and Orville Loxley; and sisters, Agnes Bevington and Thelma
Carroll.
Pauline is survived by a son & daughter-in-law,
Gary & Barbara Henderson of Greenville; daughter, Ann Bohler of
Greenville; step son & step daughter-in-law, Ron & Judy
Eikenberry of Greenville; step daughter & step son-in-law, Mona
& George Ludwick of Jupiter, Florida; step daughter-in-law, Patti
Eikenberry of Greenville; grandchildren, Kim & Scott Rudnick of
Greenville, Jeff & Sue Henderson of Dublin, Ohio, Michelle &
Frank D’Antuono of Sugarland, Texas, Suzanne Ciotti of Louisville,
Kentucky, Stephanie (Ross) & Matt Mastriano of Fresno, California,
and Abbie Bohler & Shane Teach of Columbus, Ohio; 12 great
grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Kathryn Loxley of Wellston, Ohio,
and Virginia Henderson of Greenville.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February
12, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Greenville Church of the Brethren 421 Central
Avenue Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Ron Sherck officiating. Burial
will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery in Gettysburg. The family will
receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey
Funeral Home in Greenville and Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M.
at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made
