Noah Bryan Keel Jr.
Noah Bryan Keel Jr., age 88 of Union City, Ohio, passed away at 3:35
A.M. on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Union City Care Center in Union
City, Ohio. Noah was born April 6, 1922 in Cawood, Kentucky, to the
late Bryan & Mollie (Harris) Keel.
Noah was a factory worker. He served in the U.S.
Navy on the U.S.S. Herbert during WWII.
In addition to his parents, Noah is also preceded in
death by a brother, Harold Keel; and sister, Katie Dorsey.
Noah is survived by his wife, Jewel Ezra (Wright)
Keel whom he married May 6, 1948; children, Noah “Chuck” & Shree
Keel of St. Marys, Ohio, Phillip R. & Glenna Keel of Radcliff,
Kentucky, Janice & Terry Byrd of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Linda
Stewart of Union City, Indiana, Michael & Becky Keel of Saratoga,
Indiana, Debra McCubbin of Greenville, Ohio, Karen Jackson of Union
City, Ohio, Robert & Cindy Keel of Union City, Ohio, and Gerald
Keel of Union City, Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great
grandchildren; and a sister & brother-in-law, Sara Lou & Jack
Roberts of Monticello, Kentucky.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on
Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville,
Ohio, with Pastor Sonny Petty officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton
National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences for
