Rhys A. Bowman
Rhys A. Bowman, age 55 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:26 P.M.
Wednesday June 29, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital Dayton, Ohio. He
was born August 16, 1955 in Piqua, Ohio and the son of the late Roscoe
Bowman & the late June E. (Bowman) Sodders.
Rhys was a loyal and faithful employee for Buchy Food Service for the
past 32 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church,
Elks Lodge and Masonic Lodge all of Greenville. Rhys enjoyed
golf, the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Browns, Dayton
Flyers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Rhys is survived by his wife Pamela L. (Mathews) Bowman of
Greenville. They were married May 31, 1980. Also by his
daughters Amanda Lee Bowman at home, Natalie Anne Bowman also at home
and her fiancé Tyler Hinkle of Greenville. Brothers and sisters
in law Randall & Rhonda Bowman and Regan & Sue Bowman all of
Greenville. Nieces and Nephews Julie (Jason) Willis, Tiffany
(Jeremy) Fine, Heather (Lance) Riegle, Heidi (Tate) Sutton, Brett,
Holli & Haley Bowman. His mother in law Joan Mathews, sisters in
law Rose Mathews, Liz (Dirk) Lewis and Charity (Tom) Kinnison. Nieces
and nephews in law Kristi Anderson, Bridgit & (Steve) Kerber,
Curtis Dysinger, Kayla Kinnison, Leah & Ripley Lewis.
Rhys will be deeply missed by all of his many friends and
customers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 6, 2011 at
the First Presbyterian Church 114 East Fourth Street Greenville, Ohio
with Rev. Dr. John Person officiating. Burial will follow in the
Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday
July 5, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Zechar Bailey
Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio and on Wednesday one hour prior to the
services in the church.
