Brodrick
Carol S. (Strong) Brodrick, 55, of Greenville, OH, passed away Tuesday
morning, July 12, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born September 20, 1955 in Hamilton, OH, daughter of the late
Clarence P., Sr. and Ruby E. (Minyard) Strong. In addition to her
parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger C. Brodrick on
March 31, 2008; two half-brothers, Don and Charlie Strong; and a
half-sister, Patsy Strong.
Carol was retired from Target in Richmond, IN, where she had worked for
several years. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church.
She is survived by step children, Brad (Kim) Brodrick of Ft. Jefferson,
OH, and Dustin Brodrick of Ansonia, OH; step grandchildren, Chloe, Ian,
Hope, Sam, Jordan, and Jacob; a brother, Clarence “Hap” Strong of New
Madison; a sister, Claren (John) Pack of Eaton, OH; nieces and nephews,
Rick, Phillip, Brian, Lori, JoAnn, Marilee, John, and Sophie; and a
sister-in-law, Melanie Strong of New Madison.
Services will be held Saturday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd
Funeral Home in Greenville, OH with Pastor Ken Harbaum officiating.
Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, one hour
prior to the services at the funeral home. The family requests that in
lieu of flowers memorial contributions be given to help defray funeral
expenses.
