Thelma V. Henry
Thelma V. Henry age 82 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 12:46 P.M.
on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Emerald Crossings Assisted Living in
Dublin, Ohio. Thelma was born July 31, 1928 in Bradford, Ohio, to the
late Lawrence E. & Mary Hazel (Routzong) Miller.
Thelma retired from Greenville City Schools in 1991
where she was a cook for 28 years. Thelma was a member of St. Mary’s
Catholic Church in Greenville. She was also a member of the Greenville
American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and White Springs Ladies Golf League.
In addition to her parents, Thelma is also preceded
in death by her husband, John N. Henry on March 6, 2011 whom she
married on September 2, 1950; brother, Ivan Miller; and sisters, Ruby
Miller, Frances Herrman, Maxine Snyder and Louise Miller.
Thelma is survived by a son & daughter-in-law,
Michael & Mary Henry of Dublin; daughter & son-in-law, Kristina
& Mike Hansman of Vandalia; grandchildren, Sean Henry, Katie Henry,
Emily Henry, Nick Hansman and Eric Hansman; brother &
sister-in-law, Robert C. & Alma Miller of Versailles; sisters,
Glenna Burkett of Bradford and Jean Wills of Ansonia; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30
A.M. on Monday, June 6, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
Greenville with Rev. Fr. John White celebrant. Burial will follow in
St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greenville. The family will receive friends on
Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. and Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00
A.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Memorial
contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Heartland
