John L. Hildebrand, age 88 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Friday
May 27, 2011 at 6:54 AM at Gade Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio.
He was born February 20, 1923 in Greenville, Ohio the son of the late
Frank & Ida Hildebrand.
He served in the United States Army during World War
II. He retired from Fram after 30 plus years of service. He
was a member of the V.F.W., and the Greenville Moose Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Wife:
Betty Hildebrand; Son: Ronnie Hildebrand; Sisters: Gerry
Hildebrand, Joan Bailey.
He is survived by his son & daughter in
law: John F. & Sue Hildebrand of Greenville; Grandchildren
& spouses: Greg & Betsy Hildebrand, Rodney Hildebrand,
Mackenzie & Jared Gary; Great grandchildren: Dana Hildebrand,
Wyatt Hildebrand, Austin Stump; Step great grandchildren: James
& Crystal Wombold, Alysha, Lynee, Jordan Gary; Niece &
spouse: Sharon & Jody Burton.
Services will be held on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at
2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Don
Avore II officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township
Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00
PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Veterans Graveside services
will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
