Mary Lou Detrick
Mary Lou Detrick, 82, of Greenville, passed away early Sunday morning,
October 23, 2011 at the Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born on January 1, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late
Alva and Marguret (Sebring) Subler. In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Detrick; and a sister,
Phyllis Abel.
Mary Lou was retired from Fram/Allied in Greenville where she had
worked for 25 years. She was a member of the EUM Church in
Greenville.
She is survived by her children, Duane (Christine) Detrick of
Greenville and Susan (Ed) Swank of Greenville: grandchildren, Chris
(Shannon) Swank, Matt and Kelli Swank, Chad (friend Betsy)
Detrick, Jenny (Shawn) Smith; 7 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Bill
(Cathy) Subler; sisters, Norma Guard and Luella Swank.
Services will be held Thursday, October 27 at 1 p.m. at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. John Wiltshire
officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park near
Covington, Ohio.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from
11a.m. to 1 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be given to the
Alzheimer’s Association or Cancer Association of Darke County.
