Myers
Rebecca E. “Becky” Myers, age 75, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on
Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 9:50 PM in the Wayne Healthcare
Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on January 26, 1936 in
Bradford, Ohio and the daughter of the late Henry & Catherine
(Layer) Costello.
Becky was a Secretary and Crossing Guard at East School. She was
a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Greenville and was a loving and
caring mother and housewife.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother,
Harvey Costello.
She is survived by her husband, Chalmer O. Myers of Greenville, Ohio,
whom she married on October 13, 1956; children, Debbie and Steve Brown
of Pennsylvania, Mark & Becky Myers of Greenville, Karen Crabtree
of Pennsylvania, Chris Myers of Greenville, and Brian Myers of
Greenville; grandchildren, Angie (Chad) Bell, Adam (Bonnie) Dunn, Brett
(Abby) Brown, Trisha Myers, and Becky Myers; great grandson, Jaykob
Myers; sisters in law, Wanda Costello of Troy, Ohio and Ruby Leib of
Norwich, New York; sister and brother in law, Susan & Gary Coon of
Tipp City, Ohio; brother, Jesse Costello of Troy, Ohio; as well as
numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:30
AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Bill
Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Stelvideo Cemetery,
Stelvideo, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, September
23, 2011 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
