Esther M. Fritz
Esther M. Fritz, age 89, of Bradford, Ohio, passed away on Saturday,
April 14, 2012 at 8:50 PM at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville,
Ohio. She was born on August 6, 1922 in Darke County, Ohio, to
the late Philip Frederick & Anna (Miller) Schrader.
Esther is survived by her son and daughter in law, Gary & Pamela
Fritz of Bradford, Ohio; granddaughters, Brandi Fritz, Ashley Fritz,
and Lindsay Fritz; great grandchildren, Sarah Peyton Schubert and
Bentley Alan Fritz; sister, Velma R. Lucas of Greenville; as well as
numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband,
Carl Fritz, on Dec. 16, 1987, whom she married on July 30, 1945;
brothers, Clarence Schrader in 1987 and Orville Schrader in 1999.
She had worked at L. & M. Hardware of Versailles for 28
years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in
Greenville, and active member of the Wayne Grange since 1956, Darke
County Pomona Grange, Greenville Area Senior Citizens, as well as
numerous card clubs in the area. The family would like to express
how much Esther meant to them. She loved her family and spending
time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be
greatly missed.
There will be a service held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10:30 AM
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Alan Knoke
officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery,
Versailles, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April
17, 2012 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to
