Linda L. Brenner
Linda L. Brenner, 74, of Greenville, passed away early Sunday morning,
February 19, 2012 at Heartland of Greenville in the comfort of her
daughter’s.
She was born January 29, 1938 in Delaware, OH, daughter of the late
Ohio Finley and Ethel Mae (Siders) Keaser. In addition to her parents
she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James W. Brenner
on July 7, 2009; and a step daughter, Robin Hunt.
Linda had worked at Fram before owning and operating the Dairy Twin and
Ole Dallas Inn in Ansonia. She then had worked at various other
restaurants. She was a member of the Women of the Moose where she was a
past Senior Regent and had chaired numerous other committees. She had
served on the Ohio State Moose Associations Queens Court.
An avid bowler on the Western Ohio Bowling League, she enjoyed
traveling to many different bowling tournaments. She was baptized and a
member at the Ansonia First church of God and in her later years had
attended the EUM Church in Greenville.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Chuck) Fitzgerald of
Greenville, Cheryl “Pinky” (Richard) LaFuze, Tonya (fiancee, Bruce
Glaze) Beasley of Greenville, and Tammy (Dennis) Cothran of Navarre,
Florida; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Joan
Heffington and Barbara (Robert) Gump both of Greenville; a brother,
Charles (Marie) Keaser of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 23 at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, starting with the Women of the
Moose Memorial Service. Burial will follow at 9 a.m., Saturday at the
Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7
p.m. A light lunch will be served at 12 p.m. Thursday at the Wayne
Crossing Community Center, 888 Russ Road in Greenville.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to either the
American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
