Dale Sherrick
Dale Sherrick, age 90, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 5:45 A.M. on
Monday, February 13, 2012 at Versailles Health Care Center. Dale was
born October 10, 1921 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Alonzo &
Jenny (Mack) Sherrick.
Dale is survived by 8 nieces and nephews; special friends, Adrian &
Pat Petitjean and Virginia Rinderle and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Dale is also preceded in death by his wife,
Delores Mae (Knick) Sherrick on December 28, 1999 whom he married
August 29, 1953; sisters, Catherine Clark, Ethel Moyer, Dorthy Vietor
and an infant sister, Edith Sherrick; and a infant brother.
Dale retired from Hartzell Fan in Piqua where he was a welder for 53
years. Dale still enjoyed welding and playing with his antique car.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 16,
2012 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles with Rev. Doug Baker
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will
receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral
