Michael L. Nickson
Michael L. Nickson, 60, of Greenville, passed away Friday morning,
January 6, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
He was born May 31, 1951 in Shelbyville, IN, son of the late James
“Woody” and Violet F. (Shields) Nickson.
Mike had driven truck for 7-UP Bottling in Dayton. He then worked as a
painter at Piqua Engineering.
He is survived by his wife, Jane (Lester) Nickson, whom he married
September 27, 2005; children, Lisa Nickson, Tammy Fourman, and Michael
Otto; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Kerry Nickson and Kenny Moore; and a
sister, Pat Stockslager.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the
Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12
