Robert Lee Shepherd
Robert Lee Shepherd, age 72 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Friday
January 27, 2012 at 3:45 AM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton,
Ohio. He was born April 24, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the
late Sonny & Ruby (Rae) Shepherd. He served in the United
States Army. He worked in road construction.
He was a member of the Darke County Fish & Game Club & the Fox
Run Euchre Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Sister: Freda Mclain.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Geraldine (Barnes) Shepherd of
Greenville; Children & spouses: Alice & Walt Brown of
Greenville, Bob Shepherd Jr. & girlfriend Shirley Rogers of
Vandalia, Leon Shepherd of Greenville, Ray & Melissa Shepherd of
Englewood, Sam Shepherd & girlfriend Tish Smith of Greenville; 11
grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers: Jim Shepherd of
Eaton, Ray Shepherd of Eaton, Don Shepherd of Eaton; numerous nieces,
nephews & in laws.
Services will be held on Tuesday January 31, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Jim Hamblin
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial
Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on
Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made
to the Robert Lee Shepherd Memorial Fund in care of 5/3 Bank.
