Catherine L. (Strawser) Good, 92, of New Madison, passed away
peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Oakley House in Greenville.
Catherine was born on October 26, 1919 in Darke County, Ohio to the
late Joshua and Clara (Kreitzer) Strawser.
Catherine was a farmers wife all her life, She loved to sew, cook,
gardening and help out as a member of the PTA and organizing the
Penny supper for the schools Her greatest joy was spending time with
family and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her
husband Ralph who passed away in 2003; brothers, Ohmer Strawser
and Jessie Strawser; sister Naomi Rife and a great grandson, Sean
Mangas.
Catherine is survived by two daughters, Joyce and Joe Mangas of
Greenville and Connie and Steve Miller of Arcanum; four grandchildren,
Chad Crawford of Tennessee, Todd Crawford of Dayton, Ohio ,Jeff and
Jessica Miller of Monroe, Ohio and Emily and David Sell of Toledo,
Ohio; two step grandchildren, Joel and Donna Mangas of Kentucky and
Deana and Dwight Wulber of Willowdale, Ohio; three great grandchildren
Marissa Miller, Blake Sell and Caleb Sell; two step great
grandchildren, Brittany Mangas and Justin Mangas.
Friends and family may visit the funeral home on Tuesday, July 10, 2012
from 12 - 2 PM at Braund Funeral Home in New Madison, Ohio. A
Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 PM also at the funeral
home with the Rev. Carol Duffield being asked to officiate.
Burial will follow in the Otterbein Cemetery. Memorial contribution may
be given to the Darke County Cancer Society in honor of Catherine.
