Mr. Anthony Martin “Tony” Cordonnier, age 69 of Cridersville, Ohio and
formerly of Russia, Ohio passed away on Saturday March 10, 2012 at 7:00
AM at Cridersville Healthcare Center, Cridersville, Ohio. He was
born November 25, 1942 in Russia, Ohio the son of the late Norbert N.
& Margaret M. (Kloeker) Cordonnier. He worked for Clopay for
17 years. He was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia,
Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Brother: Joseph
Cordonnier; & Sister: Mary Ann in infancy.
He is survived by his Brothers & sisters in law: John &
Sue Cordonnier of Kettering, Ohio, Frank & Bert Cordonnier of
Russia, Ohio, Alli & Linda Cordonnier of Russia, Ohio, Leo &
Martha Cordonnier of Dayton, Ohio, Michael & Zenilda Cordonnier of
Chicago, Illinois, & Henry & Ann Cordonnier of Russia,
Ohio; numerous nieces & nephews; Special friend: Steve
Grogean of Russia, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday March
14, 2012 at St. Remy Catholic Church, 108 W. Main St., Russia, Ohio
with Rev. Fr. Frank Amberger Celebrant. Burial will follow in St.
Remy Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to
8:00 PM on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home,
Versailles, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the
donor’s choice.
