Jerry W. Kreitzer
Jerry W. Kreitzer age 56 of Union City, Ohio, passed away on Monday,
May 28, 2012 at his residence. Jerry was born September 30, 1955 in
Union City, Indiana, to the late Leonard & Florence May (Brown)
Kreitzer.
Jerry is survived by his brothers & sisters-in-law, Richard L.
Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, Dale A. & Lois Jones of North
Carolina, Ronnie E. Sr. & Mary Kreitzer of Greenville, Ohio and
Tony S. Kreitzer & Sherrel of Union City, Ohio; sisters &
brothers-in-law, Patricia D. & Kenneth Hill of Union City, Ohio,
twin sister, Terry E. & William Swartz of Greenville and Rose M.
Edwards of Greenville, Ohio; his dogs, Lucy Lu and May; aunts, Irene
Keller of Greenville, Ohio, Betty Brown of Greenville, Ohio and Ruby
Kreitzer of Greenville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by a
nephew, Ronnie Kreitzer Jr.
Jerry retired from Whirlpool Corporation in Greenville and formerly
worked at Triangle Pacific in Union City, Indiana. Jerry was a 1974
graduate of Greenville High School. Jerry served in the U.S. Marine
Corps. Jerry was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Union City, Indiana.
He was an avid bingo player.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 1, 2012
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. The family will receive
friends on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Darke County Humane Society (PAWS)
