Virginia M. (Dohme) Hollinger, 80, of Greenville, passed away early
Saturday morning, September 22, 2012 at the Miami Valley Hospital in
Dayton.
She was born July 26, 1932 in Greenville, daughter of the late Chester
and Estelle (Boaz) Oliver. In addition to her parents she was preceded
in death by her first husband, Glenn R. Dohme on September 9, 1982; an
infant daughter, Sherill Dohme; and several brothers and sisters.
Virginia was retired from the Ansonia Schools where she had worked in
the cafeteria for several years. She was a member of the Trinity
Wesleyan Church in Greenville.
She is survived by her second husband, Elvin Hollinger; sons, Michael
(Mary) Dohme, Mark (Dawn) Dohme, and Jeffrey (Tonya) Dohme, all of
Greenville; a daughter, Joy Thompson of Troy; grandchildren, Robert
Dohme, Stephanie Nodine, Jennifer Dohme, Jamie Dohme, Josh Dohme, Jacy
Dohme, Meaghan Kutter, Todd Dohme, Nich Thompson, Megan Thompson,
Ashton Dohme, and Ben Thompson; 11 great grandchildren; Step daughter,
Linda Deeter of Versailles; a step son, Dan Hollinger of Ansonia; and
numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, at the
Trinity Wesleyan Church in Greenville with Pastor Bob Boyd officiating.
Burial will follow in the Beamsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 p.m.
till 8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to
the Trinity Wesleyan Church.
