Michael G. Muhlenkamp
Michael G. Muhlenkamp, 60 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday
September 8, 2012 at 12:10 AM at Wayne Healthcare, Greenville,
Ohio. He was born May 3, 1952 in Greenville, Ohio the son of the
late Richard J. & Vera (Gelhaus) Muhlenkamp. He attended
Findlay College; served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam
War aboard the U.S.S. Haleakala. He was retired from BASF.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he taught
PSR; a member of the Knights of Columbus; was a coach for
Greenville Baseball; served on the board for youth football and the
City Park Board.
He is preceded in death by his parents; father in law: Thomas
Glaser.
He is survived by his wife: Becky (Glaser) Muhlenkamp of
Greenville; children: Nick Muhlenkamp of Rochester, New York,
Laura Muhlenkamp of Chicago, Illinois, Todd Muhlenkamp of Columbus,
Ohio; brothers & sisters & spouses: David & Amy
Muhlenkamp of Troy, Ohio, Paula & Nick Cox of Ansonia, Ohio, Ann
& Dave Baker of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Chris & Rhonda Muhlenkamp
of Carmel, Indiana; mother in law: Elizabeth Glaser of
Mishawaka, Indiana; in laws: Jane Mason of Mishawaka, Indiana,
Mary Lou & Ray Cressy of Mishawaka, Indiana, Charles & Susan
Glaser of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Susan & Michael Spadafora of
Richboro, Pennsylvania, Dick & Molly Glaser of Greensburg, Indiana,
Bob & Dawn Glaser of Holly Springs, North Carolina; step
mother: Margaret Mitchell of Greenville, Ohio; numerous nieces
& nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday September 12, 2012
at 11:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 233 West Third Street,
Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Walter Heinz celebrant. Burial
will follow in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. Family will receive
friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday September 11, 2012 at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. A prayer service will be
held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Veteran’s
graveside services are being conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor
Guard. Memorial Contributions may be given to State of the Heart
Hospice or Greenville City Parks.
