Karen Sue (Wissler)
Hager
Karen Sue (Wissler) Hager, 58 of New Paris, passed away unexpectedly on
April 8, 2013 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. She was born on July 21,
1954 in Greenville, Ohio to Bill Wissler and the late Mary (Brumbaugh)
Wissler.
Karen had worked for over 30 years at Richmond State Hospital as a
pharmacy tech. She was a 1972 graduate of Richmond High School. Karen
loved to be with her family. Her grandkids were involved in many sports
and she loved going to watch them at their sporting events. She and her
husband, Bob, liked to go bowling when they were younger.
Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Wissler in December 2012
and her son, Daniel Hager in September 2012.
Left to cherish her memory, is her husband, Bob Hager, whom she married
June 1, 1973; son and daughter in law; Robbie and Christy Hager of New
Madison; daughter and son in law, Mandy and Kenny Mann of Eaton; eight
grandchildren, Brent, Dylan, Kynnedi and Reagyin Hager, Danika Mann,
Dessa Hager, Trey, Payton and Madisyn Mann; four sisters and brothers
in law, Ann Toney of Richmond, Linda and Tom Sheard of Richmond,
Roberta and Mark Porter of Richmond and Vicki Phelps of Richmond;
numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held, at Cedar Grove Church, 373
Love Road, New Paris on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 7:00pm with Pastors
Tony Price and Kyle Hermann officiating. The family will greet friends
at the church from 4:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm. The family
request that memorial contributions be made to Tri-Village Athletic
Boosters, National Trail Athletic Boosters, or to Braund Pope Funeral
Home, 215 E. Washington St., New Madison, Ohio 45346. Braund Pope
Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Online
