Rosemary A. Nisonger

Rosemary A. Nisonger, 98, of Greenville, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013, at the Oakley House in Greenville.
 
She was born May 5, 1914, in Darke County, daughter of the late Leo and Matilda (Stammen) Barga. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Nisonger, on July 30, 2003; an infant daughter, Margaret Nisonger; grandsons, Steve & Berry Nisonger; brother, Bernie Barga; and sisters, Donna Homan, Melita Barga and Vivian Barga.
 
A homemaker, Rosemary was a lifetime member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star, and the Rosary Alter Society of St. Louis.
 
She is survived by her children, Norma (Clete) Skrabak, of Everett, Washington, Susan (Don) Hughes, Manchester, MO, Kathleen (Joe) Marotta of Steubenville, OH, Roseann (Dennis) Parks of Atascaero, CA, Dan (Wilma Jean) Nisonger of Greenville, Tom (Ann) Nisonger of West Liberty, OH, and Dick (Aleta) Nisonger of Belle Center, OH; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a brother, Jim (Pauline) Barga of Rossburg; and sister, Eileen Barrett of Naples, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 26 at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star with Rev. Fr. Jim Zink celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Louis Church Cemetery.
 
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with a prayer service being offered at 3:45p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice or St. Louis Catholic Church
