Robert L. Zumbrun
Robert L. Zumbrun, 89 of Greenville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord
on April 28, 2013 at 6:30a.m. at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born September 19, 1923 in Randolph County, IN, son of the late
John and Bessie (Smith) Zumbrun. In addition to his parents, Robert was
preceded in death by a brother Raymond Zumbrun; a son-in-law; a
grandchild; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and one nephew.
Robert was retired from Sheller Globe of Union City, a retired farmer,
as well as a Gideon (Jail Ministry) for 51 years. He was a member of
the Flying Farmers, attended Trinity Wesleyan Church, and was a donor
to many Christian organizations.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruth E. (Stullen) Zumbrun; 5
children, Cynthia (John) Fisher of Greenville, Tracy (Linda) Zumbrun of
Greenville, Marcia Tucker of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Tammy (Jim) Bolin
of Greenville, and John Zumbrun of Union City; eight grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
Services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 1:00p.m. at Trinity
Wesleyan Church at 1400 East Main St. Greenville. Burial will follow in
Teegarden Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10am to 1pm.
The family requests that the memorial contributions be given to the
Trinity Wesleyan Church Missionary Fund.
