Benjamin "Ben" F.
Shahan Jr.
Benjamin "Ben" F. Shahan Jr., 72, of Greenville, passed away on
December 15, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Ben
was born on June 29, 1941 Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Benjamin
F. Sr. and Gladys (Mullins) Shahan.
Ben retired as a computer programmer for Nissan in Smyrna, TN, He was a
1959 graduate of Greenville High School. Ben enjoyed watching The
Ohio State Football and NASCAR and going fishing. Most of all Ben
enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ben is survived by a son, Tim and Shelli Shahan of New Madison;
grandchildren, Alex and Carson Shahan of New Madison; sisters, Ida
"Lee" and Robert Farmer of Wayne Lakes, Ohio and Elsie and Jack Lane of
Greenville.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, December 19,
2013 at 11 AM. Family and friends may visit 1 hour prior to the
service. Private burial will follow at a later date in the Monroe
Cemetery. Family request memorial contributions be given to Darke
County Cancer Society.
