Daniel "Danny' S.
Whitley II
Daniel "Danny" S. Whitley II, 25, of Wayne Lakes, passed away
unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Danny was born on
February 24, 1988 in Dayton, Ohio to Daniel S. Whitley and Sherry
(Wetzel) Reynolds.
Danny loved to read, watch science fiction shows and movies. He enjoyed
camping and hanging out with friends. He had also recently found
a passion for welding and was pursuing a career in this field. Danny
had a special place in his heart for children.
Danny is preceded in death by a brother, Seanathan Clark; paternal
grandparents, Richard and Joan Whitley; and an uncle, Richard Wetzel.
In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by maternal grandparents,
Linda and Robert Weaver of Greenville and Don Wetzel of Mississippi;
two brothers, Austin and Jayden of Palestine, Ohio; an uncle, Chris
Whitley and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 26, 2013 at 4:00
PM at Ft. Jefferson Methodist Church with Rev. John McRoberts
officiating. Friends and family may visit prior to the service
from 2-4 PM. Burial will immediately follow in Oak Grove
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions
be given to Braund Pope Funeral Home to help with funeral arrangements.
