Boyd L. "Buster" Kean
III
Boyd L. “Buster” Kean III, age 59, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on
Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 5:10 AM at the Dayton VA Medical
Center. He was born on July 6, 1953 in Union City, Indiana, to
the late Boyd L. & Lucille V. (Cash) Kean II.
He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Boyd L. & Cherry
Kean IV of Manila, Philippines; sister and brother in law, Sue &
Bob Koons of Georgetown, Indiana; half sisters, Beverly Rush of
Greenville; Leslie Vicedo of Chula Vista, California; and Audrey
Walther of Port Charlotte, Florida; nieces and nephews, Virginia &
Doug Long, Donald Koons and Melody Koons; great nieces and nephews,
Robert Long, Jennifer Long, Ashley Long and Kinder Long; as well as
numerous cousins.
Boyd was a member of the United States Marines.
Family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 1-3 PM at
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. There will be a
graveside service held immediately following the visitation in the
Greenlawn Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio, with Pastor Terry Haworth
officiating.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to
the Dayton VA Medical Center.
