Hubert Dale Reier
Hubert Dale Reier, age 84, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 9:08 A.M.
on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at his residence. Hubert was born
September 26, 1928 in Cranberry Prairie, Ohio to the late Joseph G.
& Alwilda K. (Mueller) Reier.
Hubert is survived by his children, Richard & Marlene Reier of
Ansonia, Steven Reier of Ansonia, Michael & Tammy Reier of
Greenville, Kathern Reier of Greenville, Sheila & Randy Bradburn of
Greenville, Phillip & Sonya Reier of Greenville, Perry &
Lorraine Reier of Fostoria, Kristena & Myron Damewood of Union
City, Ohio and Melissa & Todd Alspaugh of Greenville; 32
grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 2 great great
grandchildren; sister & brother-in-law, Roxie & Harold Young;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Hubert is also preceded in death by his
wife, Freda Mae (Beam) Reier on May 23, 2012 whom he married June 11,
1949; son, Ronald William Reier; great granddaughter, Olive Clark; and
brothers, Lester, Gene and Norman Reier.
Hubert was a retired mechanic and formerly worked at New Idea in
Coldwater. Hubert was a member of Greenville North Congregation of
Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 16,
2013 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Gary L. Sierer
(Elder) Greenville North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will
receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral
home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville North
