W. Stanley Jones
W. Stanley Jones, 79, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, January 27,
2013 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
He was born October 26, 1933 in Jamestown Ohio, son of the late George
and Rosie Jones. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in
death by his wife, Lula Belle (Noggle) Jones who passed away September
6, 1999; a son, Wilford S. "Willy" Jones, II; 12 brothers and sisters.
Stanley was a fixture at the cane toss at the Darke County Fair for
several.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina M. Spotts of Anderson, IN;
grandchildren, Skylar Spotts and Raven Spotts.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Pastor Rodney Robbins
officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenville Memorial
Gardens.
The family request the memorial contributions be given to the funeral
home to defray the cost.
