James O. Smith
James O. Smith, age 75 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:01 P.M.
Tuesday January 22, 2013 at his residence. Jim was born October
15, 1937 in Wayne County, Indiana and the son of the late Lawrence
& Alice (Smith) Kiser.
He retired in 2001 from Whirlpool Corporation of Greenville where he
had worked for 13 years.
Jim was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army-National Guard, a member of
the Richmond, Indiana Moose Lodge, Covington, Ohio Eagles Lodge and
loved woodworking, race cars and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters
Barbara DeBoard and Doris Kay Kiser.
Jim is survived by his children Rick & Tresia Smith of Gettysburg
and Michelle & Greg Mader of Greenville. Grandchildren Terri
Razzano, Meagan Mader, Justin Mader and Stephenie Cunningham. Great
grandchildren Zoe Razzano and Katlynn Daughtery. Brothers and
sisters in law Lawrence “Sham” & Marsha Kiser of Union City,
Ohio, William & Mabel Kiser and Mike Kiser all of Greenville.
A special friend Frances Jackson of Bradford, Ohio and numerous nieces
and nephews.
A Private Memorial Gathering will be held at the convenience of the
family in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Charity of your Choice.
