Ullery
Berniece “Bea” E. Ullery, age 99 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at
9:43 A.M. Tuesday January 1, 2013 at Wayne Healthcare Center,
Greenville, Ohio. She was born April 24, 1913 in Richland Township
Darke County, Ohio and the daughter of the late Herschel & Sophia
(Rehmert) Byrd.
Berniece with her husband Joyce owned and operated Ullery Dairy Company
until 1957 and then in 1963 founded Ullery Vending Company of
Greenville which they operated until 2009.
She was a member of the EUM Church, the Grandmother’s Club and Eastern
Star all of Greenville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
Joyce E. Ullery December 29, 1991; sons Donald E. Ullery 2012 and J.
Duane Ullery 2009; daughter in law Pennie S. Ullery; sister Gladys
Wogoman and brothers Ward Byrd, Ralph Byrd, Lowell Byrd and another
brother in infancy.
She is survived by her son Larry G. Ullery of Greenville; daughter in
law Nancy Ullery of Ft. Myers, Fla.; grandchildren Tim (Tina) Ullery of
Greenville, Michelle (Tony) Deemer of Cincinnati, L. Robert (Nancy)
Ullery of Lexington, KY and Brian S. (Jen) Ullery of St. Louis, MO.; 10
great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday January 5, 2013 in
the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Sylvia
McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville
Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00
P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the EUM Church and Care Ministry.
