Johnny Lee Poling
Johnny Lee Poling, 64, of Union City, Ohio, formerly of West Virginia,
passed away, July 4, 2013 at his residence.
He was born May 10, 1949 in Moatsville, WV, a son of the late Wilbert
Lee and Geneva Marie (McCauley) Poling. In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Marie Martino, Anna
Kathleen Lipscomb, and Georgia Lee Poling.
John was a member of the Upper Room Church of God in Greenville, Ohio
and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Union City, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Jones) Poling; children, John
Edward (Romine) Poling and Tammy Lou Poling both of Cumberland,
Maryland; stepson, Robert Matthew Leggett; sisters, Lefa Dale Smith of
Clearfield, KY and Lula Bell McNeil of Grand Rapids, Ohio; brothers
Garris Glen (Eva) Poling of Gore, Virgina, Scotty Steven Poling of
Winchester, Virginia, and Robert Micheal Kaposy of Swanton, Ohio.
Services will be held at 12 pm, Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Perine
Funeral Home in Shinnston, West Virginia. Burial will follow in the Mt.
Vernon Cemetery in Philippi, West Virginia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10am
until time of service at 12 noon.
