Judy Vaughn-Schneider
Judy Vaughn-Schneider, 65, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away
unexpectedly Tuesday evening, March 5, 2013 at her residence in
Greenville.
She was born May 12, 1947 in Denver, Colorado, daughter of the late
James H. and Sarah E. (DeBord) Vaughn. In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Bowers.
Judy was retired from Corning in Greenville. She was a member of the
American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries both in Greenville.
She is survived by her brother, Vernon (Teressa) Smith of Kingsport,
TN; sisters, Mary Sargent of Bradford, OH, and Carol Schmidt of
Kingsport, TN; 4 special nieces; 7 special nephews; significant other,
Terry L. Baker of Greenville; and many friends and adopted families.
Judy’s sparkle brought light and laughter to all she met. Small in
stature but a huge heart that touched everyone she met. Her warmth,
generosity and humor will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to
have known her.
Private services will be held at a later date with burial to follow in
Tennessee.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in
Greenville, OH.
