Sholley
William J. "Bill" Sholley, 85, of Greenville, passed away late Friday
evening, March 15, 2013 at the Oakley House in Greenville.
He was born August 23, 1927 in Ansonia, son of the late Francis William
and Nettie Edna (Miller) Sholley. In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by his wife, Ruby H. (Atkinson) Sholley on March 25,
2008; 3 sisters, Mary Helen Coppess, Alice Shaw and Marie Derr, and one
brother John Sholley.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Victor Arnett; 3
grandchildren, Barbara Arnett (Larry Vititoe) of Gordon, Jeff
(Darrellyn) Arnett, Nicole (Kirk) Rice of Greenville; eight great
grandchildren, Ethan Arnett, Jeffrey and Jordan Rice, Mara, Celeste,
Annie, Billy and Ruby Arnett all of Greenville.
Services with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor
Guard will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 19 at the Oliver-Floyd
Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Ansonia Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11
a.m. till 1 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be
given to State of the Heart Hospice.
