Kenneth Green
Kenneth Green, age 88 of Greenville, Ohio and formerly of Union City,
Ohio passed away at 2:45 P.M. Monday October 7, 2013 in the State of
the Heart Hospice Care Center Greenville, Ohio. Kenneth was born
April 29, 1925 in Union City, Ohio and the son of the late George and
Lillie (Maloy) Green.
He was a self-employed business man having built and managed Greenwood
Mobile Home Park of Union City, Indiana and was a Veteran of W.W. II
serving in the U.S. Army.
Kenneth attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Greenville,
Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Gary
Allen Green May 23, 2011. Also brothers Ralph, Perry, Harold,
Tom, Dan and Gerald Green and a sister Edna Sharp.
Kenneth
is survived by his wife Beatrice (Teeter) Green of
Greenville. They were married July 28, 1948.
Also son and daughters in law Kenneth “Pete” and Leanna Green Jr., of
Troy, Ohio and Amy (Prewitt) Green of Union City, Ohio.
Grandchildren Rachel (Bruce) Krauth, Jessica Green, Josh Green, Melanie
(Nathan) Hawkey, Matthew (Lindsey) Green, Kyle Green, Abby Green and
Sara Thomas. Brothers George Green and James Green both of Union
City, Indiana. Also numerous nieces and
nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday October 11, 2013 in
the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Daniel T. Besecker
officiating. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery Union
City, Indiana. The family will receive friends on Friday from
12:30 P.M. until time of services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
