Genevieve Marker
Genevieve Marker, age 89, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday,
October 11, 2013 at 11:15 AM at her residence. She was born on
November 21, 1923 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Lincoln Lyons and
Mary Ann (Silverthorn) Lyons Zollner.
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Roger & Janice
Marker of Centerville, Ohio, and Wayne L. Marker Jr.; daughters and son
in law, Brenda Denlinger of Greenville and Linda & Tim Hunt of
Greenville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband
Wayne L. Marker; brothers, Herman Lyons and Thomas Lyons.
She was a homemaker and a member and baptized at the Greenville Church
of the Brethren; lifetime Auxiliary Member of the D.A.V., American
Legion and VFW all of Greenville.
There will be a private service held at the convenience of the
family. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey
Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to
Heartland Hospice.
