Lois E. Riggs
Lois E. Riggs, age 91, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday,
October 11, 2013 at 5:18 PM at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center
in Greenville, Ohio. She was born on May 18, 1922 in Darke
County, Ohio, to the late H.B. & Agnes (Michael) Riggs.
She is survived by her sister Alice Hollenback of Greenville as well as
numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings,
Mary Darner, Ruth Miller, Robert Riggs, Harold Riggs and Gerald Riggs.
Lois retired from Hobart Manufacturing in Greenville. She
attended St. John Lutheran Church in Greenville and was a member of the
Eagles. She loved sewing and spending time with her nieces and
nephews.
There will be a service held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at
St. John Lutheran Church, 7418 St. Rt. 121 North, Greenville, Ohio,
with Pastor Alan Knoke officiating. Burial will follow in the
Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Family
will receive friends one hour prior to the service at church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home,
Greenville.
