Ted Williams
Ted Williams, age 97 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 6:25 P.M.
Sunday December 21, 2014 at the Brethren Retirement Community
Greenville, Ohio. Ted was born September 11, 1917 in Greenville,
Ohio where he lived his entire life and the son of the late J. Lendall
and Louise Williams.
He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Army, authored several
books, some of which were written when he was in his eighties and had a
life-long love affair with golf and was a former Greenville City
Champion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,
Ondalee (Fisher) Williams July of 1999.
Ted was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived
by two sons: Ted (Sally) Williams Jr. of Kettering and Joel (Karen)
Williams of Centerville; two grandchildren, Stacey Shook and Brad
Williams, along with four great grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family
in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Chaplain Todd
Reish officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Brethren Retirement Community Resident’s Aid Fund.
