James Jay Kreitzer
James Jay Kreitzer, age 73 of Palestine, Ohio passed away at 1:10 A.M.
Monday February 17, 2014 in the Brethren Retirement Community
Greenville, Ohio. Jim was born December 16, 1940 in Darke County,
Ohio and the son of the late George W. and Mary M. (Lindamood) Kreitzer.
Jim was a member of the U.S. Army serving from 1963 until 1965.
He was retired after 23 years of employment from the Union City Body
Company and a member of the Palestine Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother
Bennie K. Kreitzer May 15, 2013.
He is survived by a sister Zoeann Stephan of North Star, sister in law
Sue Kreitzer of Palestine, 3 nephews, 2 nieces and his aunt Irene
Keller of Greenville.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday February 20,
2014 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor
Mike Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine
Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday 1 hour
prior to the services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
