Robert E. "Bob" Rentz
Robert E. "Bob" Rentz, age 82, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on
Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 12:01 AM at the Veteran’s Administration
Hospital in Dallas, TX. He was born on June 29, 1931 in Darke County,
Ohio, to the late Albert & Wilma (Rose) Rentz.
Bob was a member of the United States Air Force. He owned his own
business restoring Model A cars and manufacturing parts. He was a
member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge #143.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother
Charles and twin brother Richard Rentz.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Evelyn (Mendenhall) Rentz of
Greenville, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews, Carol (Roger)
Howard, Barbara (Gery) Glover and Chuck Rentz of Maryland, John
(Crystal) Rentz of Texas and David (Regina) Rentz of California.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM followed by a celebration of
life at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 25, 2011 at the Zechar-Bailey
Funeral Home, 1499 N Broadway Greenville, Ohio. There will be a private
burial held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under
the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, OH.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to
the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct Full Military Honors
on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the Greenville funeral home.
