Sally R. Klipstine
Sally R. Klipstine, 80, of Greenville, precious wife and mother, passed
quietly and walked into the presence of God, Saturday evening, July 26,
2014, at her residence.
She was born September 8, 1933, in Ludlow Falls, OH, the daughter of
the late Ralph and Phyllis (Aldrich) Wright. In addition to her parents
she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lenard Clymer on June
7, 1969.
Sally had owned the former Clymer Trucking and worked many years for
Dick Lavy Trucking. She had attended Trinity Lutheran Church in
Versailles.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, George Klipstine, whom she
married June 18, 1998; children, Rene’ (Devon) Wasson of Union City,
IN, Connie (Jim) Sink of Englewood, Bryan (Aliana) Clymer of
Greenville, J.D. Clymer of Versailles, Lenny (Tina) Clymer of Rotunda
West, FL, and Teresa (Roger) Fleckenstein of Versailles; step sons,
John (Becky) Klipstine, and Bill (Kim) Klipstine of Ansonia;
grandchildren, Stacey (Aaron) Johnson, Jennifer (David) Dow, Holly
(Chad) Garrison, Dr. Brianne Clymer, Lindse’ (Josh) Browner, Jesse
Fleckenstein, and Kinni Fleckenstein; great grandchildren, Ryker,
Daxton, Stella, Breylind, Kenyon, and Rolan; several step grandchildren
and step great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Yantis, and Ellen Ditmer;
a brother, Nick (Bobbie) Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews and
wonderful friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at
the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Steve Shoop
officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 4
p.m. on Wednesday. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial
contributions be given to either the Cancer Association of Darke County
or the American Heart Association.
