Frieda
Belle Landis, age 83 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 1:00 A.M.
Monday July 21, 2014 at the Brethren Retirement Community of
Greenville. She was born September 11, 1930 in Union City,
Indiana and the daughter of the late Wendell and Virginia (Burkett)
Williamson.
Frieda was retired from Farmers Home Administration of Greenville and
attended the Faith Baptist Church also of Greenville. She also
loved to garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Wyvetta Surface.
Frieda is survived by her husband Robert G. Landis of Greenville.
They were married July 27, 1957. Also a daughter and son in law
Loreen and Larry Thompson of Pembroke, VA; grandchildren Rebecca
Thompson and Joshua Thompson; Sister Colleen Reynolds of Centerville,
Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday July 25, 2014 in
the Germantown Cemetery 11179 West Market St., Germantown, Ohio
followed by a Memorial Service at starting at 12 Noon in the Faith
Baptist Church 740 Russ Road Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Bill Baker
officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from
6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville,
Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Faith Baptist Church of Greenville.
