Shelba J. Wilson
Shelba J. Wilson, age 67, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:04 P.M.
on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her residence. Shelba was born August 28,
1946 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Clarence & Mary K. (Gauby)
Schafer.
Shelba is survived by her husband, Rex D. Wilson whom she married
February 3, 1973; son, Rex D. Wilson II; daughter & son-in-law,
April & Jeff Brocious of Arcanum; granddaughters, Jessica Brocious
and Nicole Brocious; and a brother, Errol Schafer of Ansonia.
Shelba was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Congregational
Christian Church in Greenville and a longtime member of St. John
Lutheran Church in Greenville. Shelba volunteered for the Greenville
Chapter of Children’s Miracle Network Telethon for Dayton Children’s
Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Ted McCurdy
officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery in
Greenville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 to
2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to
the Children’s Miracle Network for Dayton Children’s Medical Center.
