M. Evelyn (McMullen) Wilson, 95, of Englewood, Ohio passed away
peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Englewood Manor. Evelyn
was born July 11, 1918 in Barton County, Kansas to the late Ben and
Minnie (Meade) McMullen.
Evelyn was a housewife and seamstress during her life. She
enjoyed bowling, baking and sewing. She always loved time with
her family. Evelyn was a 4-H Instructor when her children were
younger.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband,
Roy Wilson; a son, Roy D. Wilson; a daughter, Madeleine Sterner;
a grandson, Randy Wilson and several brothers and sisters.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Paul D. Wilson of Dayton; grandchildren,
Stephen Wilson, Darryl Sterner, Vaughn Sterner, Tonya Rahrig, Chad
Wilson and Jonathon Wilson; fifteen grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, June 26,
2014 at 2:00 PM at Braund Pope Funeral Home in New Madison with Rev.
Tony Price officiating. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 -
2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oak Grove
Cemetery. The family request memorial contributions be given to
Evercare Hospice of Dayton Ohio.
