Mary Margaret Wade
Mary Margaret Wade died at the age of 89 on May 13, 2014 at the State
of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio. Mrs. Wade
was a longtime resident of Greenville. Though retired for many
years now, she was a manager at Lawsons for several years before it
closed. She enjoyed her later years cooking, and cherishing her
many friends and her extended family, who lovingly called her "Mom" and
"Grandma Mary."
Mrs. Wade is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie and her
mother, Berta Calvert Leach.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy of Greenville, and Pam of Lima,
Ohio
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday May 16, 2014 in the
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Mr. Scott Hobbs
officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday 1 hour prior to the services
in the funeral home.
The family is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, donation be
made to the American Cancer Society or State of the Heart Hospice of
Darke County in Mary's name.
