Kenny L. Blackburn
Kenny L. Blackburn, 68, of Greenville formally of Ansonia, passed away
Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born March 30, 1946 in Darke County, Ohio, son of the late
Morris R. "Happy" and Mary Jeanette (Karns) Blackburn. In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Benny
Blackburn and special friend Margaret Blackburn.
He had worked for the former Huffy's in Celina and later worked for
Cooper Farms. He had attended the Greenville Missionary Church and was
a former member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his children, Dennis (Michelle) Blackburn of Arcanum,
Pam (Chad) Gootee, of Marysville, OH, Mike (Kendra) Blackburn of
Greenville; 17 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Shirley Yohey of
Greenville, Carol Close of Ansonia, Connie (George) Harling of Celina,
Becky (John) Klipstine of Ansonia, Steve (Carrie) Blackburn of Minster,
OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, November 22, at Oliver-Floyd
Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Gary Oser officiating.
Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday 10 a.m.
till 11 a.m.
