Donald D. Cox
Donald D. Cox, 84, of Greenville, passed away Friday evening, October
31, 2014 at Village Green Healthcare Center in Greenville.
He was born June 25, 1930 in Union City, Indiana, a son of the late
Claud and Edith (Denny) Cox.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by three
brothers, Richard, Bobby and Gerald Cox.
Don served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War
and was a member of the Skyview Wesleyan Church in Tipp City, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bonnie (Timmons) Cox of
Greenville, whom he married December 24, 1950; one brothers, Jerry Cox
of Union City, Ohio; one sister, Deloris Katey of Florida; many nieces
and nephews.
Services will be held at 11am, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Verl Light
officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in the Oak
Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday,
November 5 from 5-7pm.
