Reva W. Crose
Reva W. Crose, age 96, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 9:15 A.M. on
Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Brethren Retirement Community in
Greenville. Reva was born August 11, 1918 in Darke County, Ohio to the
late Leonard & Ethel (Anderson) Besecker.
Reva is survived by her children, Janet & Donald Weills of
Greenville, Bonnie & Robert Kreider of Kansas City, Missouri,
Bennie & Shirley Ressler of Greenville and Ted Ressler of South
Charleston, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4
great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Reva was also preceded in death by her
husband, W.D. Crose on April 9, 1996; brothers, Verl, Delver and Denver
Besecker; and sister, Edythe Morris.
Reva was a secretary for many businesses throughout her career. She was
a member of the First Methodist Church in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 11,
2014 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev Joe Soley
officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery in Darke
County. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00
P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request
memorial contributions may be made to the Brethren Retirement Community
Resident Aid Fund or State of the Heart Hospice.
