Iris Mae Gray
Iris Mae Gray, age 91 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 8:48 P.M.
Monday November 24, 2014 at Rest Haven Nursing Home Greenville,
Ohio. She was born June 6, 1923 in Fort Jefferson, Ohio and the
daughter of the late James Virgil & Bessie E. (Parker) Hicks.
Iris was retired as a nurse’s aide for the Brethren Retirement
Community and a member of the Triumphant Christian Center of Greenville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband
George F. Gray; a daughter Georgia Kissinger; son Neal Gray and several
brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry (Carlos) Rodriguez of
Greenville; son Harry Gray of Union City, Indiana; 13 grandchildren;
numerous great grandchildren; great great grandchildren and nieces and
nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday November 28, 2014 in
the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Arnold
Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township
Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from
1:00 P.M. until time of the services in the funeral home.
