Gail E. Teegarden
Gail E. Teegarden, 78, of Union City, OH, passed away early Monday
morning, August 24, 2015, at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center
in Greenville.
He was born March 19, 1937 in Woodington, son of the late Charles W.
and Erma Margaret (King) Teegarden.
Gail was retired from the Union City Motor Company and had worked for
years repairing audio/visual equipment for many schools. He attended
the Greenville Missionary Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty A. (Strait) Teegarden,
whom he married April 20, 1958; a son, Robert E. (Mary) Teegarden;
grandchildren, Kristie (Zach) Smith, and Cody Teegarden; a great
grandson, Bentley Smith; and a sister, Charlene Borden.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral
Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery near
Ansonia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to
7 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to
State of the Heart Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
