Coleman Wages
Coleman Wages, 85, of New Madison, passed away on Aug. 10, 2015, at
Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. He was born on Dec. 16, 1929, in
Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to the late Walden and Viney (Purvis) Wages.
Coleman was a Harrison Township trustee, a union steward at Dana
Perfect Circle in Richmond, Indiana. He was also a member of the
American Legion in New Madison.
In addition to his parents, Coleman was preceded in death by a sister,
Crystal McKee; brother, Paul Wages; sister, Beulah Kincaid;
sister-in-law, Ruth Wages; brother-in-law, John Kincaid; and son,
Benjamin Wages.
Coleman is survived by son, Doug and Sue Wages; daughter, Angela and
George Hunt; daughter-in-law, Lisa Allen; grandchildren, Brian and
Ginnie Hunt, Nicole and Josh LeVoi, Shannon and Andy Riley, and Timothy
and Beth Wages; great-grandchildren, Riley LeVoi, Lillian Riley, Maren
Hunt, Anna LeVoi, Amelia Riley, Audrey LeVoi, Oscar Hunt, Lucy Wages
and Alice Hunt; brother, Mark Wages; and sister-in-law, Linnie Wages.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at
2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren, New Paris, Ohio, with the
Rev. Tony Price officiating. Family and friends may visit one hour
prior to services also at the church.
The family requests memorial contributions be given to Brethren
Retirement Community or the American Legion in New Madison.
