Rodney K. Teaford
Rodney
K. Teaford age 68, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:10 A.M. on
Sunday, December 27, 2015 at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in
Greenville. Rodney was born March 2, 1947 in Greenville, Ohio to the
late Frank & Hazel (Dye) Teaford.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara (Baker) Teaford
whom he married June 21, 1969; daughters & son-in-law, Stacey &
Jeff McMiller of New Madison and Kristy Godown & Jeff Shilt of
Greenville; grandchildren, Justin McMiller, Macy Godown and Ethan
Godown; brothers & sister-in-law, Rudy & Ann Teaford of
Greenville and Bruce Teaford of Greenville; sister &
brother-in-law, Arlene & John Sanders of St. Augustine, Florida;
his English Bulldog, Lincoln Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Rodney was also preceded in death by his brothers, Terry & Colin Teaford.
Rodney served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from
the Union City Body Company. Rodney was a member of the Greenville
American Legion and the Greenville Elks.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 30,
2015 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Terry
Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The
family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and
Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Full Military
Honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke
County or State of the Heart Hospice.
