Joel Stewart Beavins
Joel Stewart Beavins, 66 of Greenville made his way to heaven on
Wednesday February 18, 2015 at 5:00 PM at the Brethren Retirement
Community. He was born December 14, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois the
son of Dorothy M. (Brewer) Beavins of Greenville and the late Lionel E.
“Bo” Beavins.
He was a member of the Darke County United Way Tractor Cruise; &
the Steam Threshers Association.
He is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother; his wife: Pamela (Crow) Beavins of
Greenville; his children & spouses: Christina Beavins &
Kathryn Glunt of Greenville, South Carolina, Karen & Todd Meinsen
of Fountain City, Indiana, Joel & Jill Beavins Jr. of Franklin,
Indiana, JoAnna Bingham of Greenville, Jeff Beavins of Greenville,
& Jenny & Thomas Severance of Greenville; step children &
spouses: Glen & Patsy Hoff of Greenville, Tamara Oostra &
Fiancé Brian Vietor of New Madison, Betsy Kaufhold & Fiancé Mike
Campbell of Greenville, Gregory Hoff & Fiancée Jessica Whitaker of
Union City, Indiana, Will Tester of Greenville; numerous grandchildren
& great grandchildren; & many buddies.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 28, 2015 at 11:00
AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Ron
Sherck officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to
11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made
to State of the Heart Hospice.
